# Commands

> Bare `hum` opens a session in the current directory.

## Work

| `hum` | New session here |
| `hum "task"` | New session with a first instruction |
| `hum run "task"` | Unattended; see [Run unattended](https://docs.metaphi.ai/hum/unattended.md) |
| `hum resume [name]` | Continue a session; `--last` skips the picker |
| `hum update` | Update this install |

Flags: `-C DIR` work elsewhere, `--image PATH` attach an image, `--plain` text client without Node.

## Sessions

| `hum export <name> [-o FILE]` | Write as an ATIF trajectory |
| `hum sync` | Upload local sessions |
| `hum ps` | Running sessions on this machine |

| `hum plugin marketplace add <owner/repo>` | A catalog of plugins; `update`, `remove`, `list` |

## MCP servers

| `hum mcp add <name> <url>` | A server reached over HTTP; `--header KEY:VALUE` on every call |
| `hum mcp add <name> -- <command> [args]` | A server started here; `-e KEY=VALUE` in its environment |
| `hum mcp login <name>`, `logout` | Sign in to a server in the browser; forget it |
| `hum mcp list [--json]`, `get <name>` | What is declared here and what you are signed in to; one entry as TOML |
| `hum mcp remove <name>` | Drop it |

`--scope project` on `add` and `remove` writes the repository's `.hum/config.toml` for everyone who works in it.
