# Organizations

> Members, roles, domains and invitations.

An organization holds a company's access, keys and credit. What its members and keys make belongs to it. A person in no shared organization holds their own.

Metaphi approves every organization. An organization made in the console shows **Awaiting approval from Metaphi AI** until it is approved, and its owners are emailed.

## Roles

| Role | Can |
| - | - |
| `member` | Use what the organization holds |
| `billing` | Add credit and set the low-balance alert |
| `admin` | Manage keys and members |
| `owner` | Everything, and manage owners |

Only an owner makes, changes or removes an owner.

## Members and invitations

Owners and admins invite people at [app.metaphi.ai/members](https://app.metaphi.ai/members) by email and role. The person joins when they accept, signed in as that address: an invitation shows on their console with **Join** and **Decline**.

Removing a member leaves the keys they made working.

## Domains

An organization can hold its company's email domain. Anyone who signs in with an address at that domain joins the organization. Ask Metaphi to set up your domain.
