# Credit

> Your organization's balance, adding credit and the low-balance alert.

Paid work is drawn from the organization's credit balance. The console's overview shows the balance and what you can spend now:

| You see | Meaning |
| - | - |
| You can spend \$X now. | The balance you can draw on |
| You can spend \$X more: your monthly limit, which resets on a date it names. | A monthly limit on you or your organization applies |
| Runs are refused until credit is added. | The balance is spent |
| No limit on what you spend. | Nothing limits your spend |

## Add credit

Owners and billing members add credit at [app.metaphi.ai/billing](https://app.metaphi.ai/billing): enter an amount and choose **Add credit**. Other members see who to ask. **Credit history** lists each purchase and each credit from Metaphi AI.

## Low-balance alert

Owners and billing members set a dollar amount on the billing page. They are emailed when the balance falls below it, and again at $0. With the alert off they are still emailed at $0.

Each product says what happens to its work when credit runs out.
